The Goodey Gallery is a part of the long established Western Art Association. While the Western Art Association was formed in 1972 the Goodey Gallery was brought to life in the spring of 2011.
The gallery is named after the late Dr. Darwin Goodey, long time president of the WAA and a major supporter of the arts in Ellensburg.
The gallery is now the home of a regional group of signature Artists.
These artists’ will participate in two or three person shows at least one time per year. Each artist will be showing their works in the Artists’ Gallery Room changing out the display several times during the year.
New shows open on the First Friday Art Walk and exhibiting artists will be present to meet attendees and answer questions regarding their art.
